Job summary

Partner Company is seeking a Data Platform Engineer (Mid-level) based in Sweden. You will transform an established data and ML platform into a scalable, self-service environment, building pipelines, IaC modules, and reusable tooling for data services across teams.

Join an AI-enabled engineering culture where you will help design governance, templates, and documentation, and you may lead the platform tooling roadmap within six months.

Qualifications

• Experience owning deployment paths end-to-end and documenting solutions.
• 2+ years in software, data, platform, DevOps or infra engineering.
• Degree in CS, Engineering or related field.
• Practical Python and SQL in professional tasks.
• CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code experience and improvement ability.
• Strong code analysis, troubleshooting and judgement.
• Familiarity with Docker and AWS; SageMaker not required.

Responsibilities

• Improve CI/CD pipelines and adapt workflows for reliable delivery.
• Extend and maintain infrastructure-as-code modules.
• Apply data governance: naming, access controls, retention policies.
• Build self-service tooling with reusable templates.
• Create modules to simplify pipeline creation and tasks.
• Write practical runbooks, docs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Own data access workflows and streamline permissions.
• Lead platform tooling roadmap and maintain modules.
• Collaborate across data, backend and infra teams.
• Incorporate AI-assisted development with critical review.
