Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Ludvika is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data pipelines powering Grid Integration analytics. You will transform architectural blueprints into robust data flows, integrate disparate sources, and prepare data for analytics and BI applications.

You will work with data platform architects to deliver scalable, compliant data services, ensuring data quality and reliable operations in a global, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Proven data engineering experience in large enterprise data warehouses or cloud data platforms.
• Strong skills in data integration, ETL/ELT design and data quality.
• Proficiency in SQL and modern data orchestration languages (Python/Scala for Spark).
• Experience with PPS-like governance or ITIL/ITSM processes for operations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines to unify data from diverse sources.
• Implement backend data structures, data marts, and schemas with data platform architects.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and master data alignment across systems.
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot issues, and handle ITIL-based requests.
• Follow PPS guidelines and global data privacy and security standards in deployments.
