Job summary

International Data Centre Contractor in Skellefteå, Sweden, seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a major data centre project on-site. You will support commercial management, cost control, procurement, and subcontractor accounts across Europe.

You will prepare budgets, forecasts and payment applications, manage variations and final accounts, and work closely with project teams to identify risks and opportunities within contract requirements. This is a long-term, cross-border role.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a similar discipline required.
• Proven experience in cost control, procurement and contract administration.
• Hands-on experience managing subcontractor accounts, valuations and variations.

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial and contractual management of the data centre project.
• Prepare and maintain project budgets, forecasts and cost reports.
• Support subcontractor tendering, evaluation and contract administration.
• Manage subcontractor accounts including valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
• Prepare interim valuations and applications for payment.
• Evaluate and process change orders and variations in line with contract requirements.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Package Managers and site teams on cost management.
• Attend commercial meetings, site meetings and project reviews.
• Maintain accurate commercial and contractual documentation.
• Support the preparation of financial reports for senior management.
• Assist with the resolution of commercial and contractual issues throughout project delivery.
