Job summary

Google is seeking a Data Center Facilities Technician, Mechanical in Stockholm, Sweden. This hybrid role allows in-office work in Stockholm or remote work within Sweden, with a focus on maintaining HVAC and mechanical systems in Google's data centers.

Responsibilities include inspection, repair, and optimization of piping, pumps, CRAC/CRA units, and related equipment, while ensuring safety and environmental standards and supporting new equipment installations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certified training in a related technical field.
• 5 years HVAC/Mechanical experience in a commercial/industrial setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with proper PPE.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and rotations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair data center systems including piping and mechanical components.
• Assist daily by reading blueprints and sequences of operations; conduct system tours.
• Manage uptime and maintenance of water pumps, HVAC, and control/monitoring systems.
• Operate and respond to abnormal conditions in data center facilities and equipment.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new mechanical equipment.
