Job summary

G2 Recruitment is partnering with an international EPC to recruit a Freelance Commissioning Engineer for a hyper-scale Data Center project in Stockholm.

You will support medium-voltage switchgear testing, perform live work up to 1000V, and install equipment per the design manual, collaborating with multinational teams. Fluent English (C1+) and at least 3 years in commissioning are required; Siemens Siprotec protection relays and ABB experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Electrical / Power Engineer by degree or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience working as a commissioning engineer.
• Experience with Siemens Siprotec Protection Relays/ ABB.
• Knowledge of MV/LV equipment such as transformers, switchgear, protection relays and SCADA interfaces.
• English communication skills to C1+ level.

Responsibilities

• Supporting medium-voltage switchgears.
• Hands on testing with Protection Relays.
• Work live and switch up to 1000V.
• Install electrical equipment as per design manual.
