Qualifications

  • Experience in data or analytics engineering roles.
  • Academic degree in analytics engineering or data engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in ETL processes and creating analytics-ready datasets.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement efficient data models for analytics workflows and end-user usability.
  • Build robust and scalable data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
  • Collaborate with Risk, Finance, and IT to ensure data solutions align with business needs.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance throughout the analytics lifecycle.
  • Drive technical improvements by introducing modern tools and processes to enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Partner with other engineers to align transformation processes for analytics purposes.

Are you ready to be a key contributor within the Data & Analytics Engineering department at NOBA Bank Group? Your focus will be on advancing analytics capabilities, optimizing data workflows, driving innovation in the cloud, and unlocking the full potential of the organization’s most valuable asset – data.

About The Role

The Data & Analytics Engineering department comprises specialized teams focused on Data Infrastructure Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and Data Management.

As a Data Analytics Engineer, you'll play a central role in building and optimizing the organization's supporting analytics layer, collaborating across the bank. This role offers broad opportunities to grow and make a tangible impact!

Main Tasks
  • Design and implement efficient data models, focusing on analytics workflows and end-user usability.
  • Build robust and scalable data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as Risk, Finance, and IT, to ensure data solutions align with business needs.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance throughout the analytics lifecycle.
  • Drive technical improvements, introducing modern tools and processes to enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Partner with other engineers to align transformation processes for analytics purposes.
We Are Looking For Someone Who

Enjoys working with data & analytics engineering, modern data practices, and creating insights that drive decisions. We believe you are a detail-oriented and proactive person who thrives in a high pace enviroment and enjoy learning new technologies. You approach challenges with a “can-do” attitude and excel in analytical thinking and problem-solving.

For This Role You’ll Need
  • Work experience in a similar role within data engineering or analytics engineering
  • An academic degree related to analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar fields.
  • Proficiency in ETL processes, designing analytics-ready datasets, and ensuring clean and usable data for stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Databricks, dbt (SQL), python and related reporting tools and languages.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
  • Fluency in English is required, along with fluency in either Swedish or Norwegian.
It’s a Plus If You Have
  • Experience with Microsoft’s data stack (Azure, SQL, and other cloud services).
  • Experience working with on-prem solutions.
  • A background in data roles within the financial sector.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
