Job summary

About the team

Our Credit & Analytics department is known for being one of the most forward-thinking in the Nordics, made up of talents from across the globe. Within this department, the Credit Underwriting & Decision Analytics unit focuses on continuously improving our automated underwriting processes and monitoring risk performance.

We are now launching our SME business loans in the Nordics. As we build this business from the ground up, we’re looking for a Credit Risk Analyst SME with strong credit risk experience within the corporate lending business to play a key role in shaping our future solutions, policies, and risk strategies. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of a new business area and make a real impact from day one.

What you’ll be doing
  • Play a central role in developing and launching the SME business loans in the Nordics
  • Collaborate with business, product, and cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives, providing credit risk expertise into business decisions
  • Work with data and data structures to ensure we have the right foundation for monitoring SME credit risk and processes, and to connect these insights directly to business and credit risk outcomes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of credit risk strategies, tools, process improvements and efficiency
  • Develop and enhance data-driven monitoring and reporting to support proactive risk management for SME portfolios as the business grows
  • Understand how data flows through our systems and processes, and leverage this knowledge to identify business opportunities, improve decision-making, and optimize operations
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate on various tasks within Credit Underwriting & Decision Analytics to support our continuous improvement journey
What we’re looking for
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working within credit risk and the credit environment for SME business loans in the Swedish market
  • In-depth knowledge of credit risk assessment, credit bureau data, regulatory requirements, and market-specific credit risk factors related to SME loans
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly\
  • Fluency in English (Scandinavian language skills is a plus)
  • Strong communication skills – ability to explain complex findings in an understandable way
  • Working experience from using analytical tools such R, Python, SAS or SQL/Databricks
  • A degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science or similar)
  • Experience with fraud detection, prevention, and related controls within the SME loans is a strong plus
Nice to have:
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
