Job summary

FedEx Europe is seeking a Clearance Broker to join the Customs Clearance team in Stockholm-Arlanda, Sweden. You will review shipments data, ensure accurate declarations, and liaise with customers and authorities to resolve issues.

You will work within tight deadlines in a dynamic office setting, building strong relationships with clients and using in-house systems to ensure compliant clearance processing. FedEx offers extensive learning resources and career opportunities.

Qualifications

• Good team working skills in a busy office environment.
• Experience or working knowledge of clearance principles, Import/Export processes and regulatory requirements.
• Customer focused with excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to make sound numerical decisions under deadlines.

• Good Microsoft Office and PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Review shipments data to understand customer and regulatory requirements and check documentation.
• Use in-house systems to create accurate clearance declarations.
• Contact customers or government agencies to clarify information as needed.
• Resolve routine customer and customs disputes.
• Build relationships with customers and help them choose the best clearance services.
