Job description

Analyst, Corporate/Senior Analysts – Customer Analysis Section (CAS)

Would you like to help establish DNB as the leading Corporate and Institutional bank in Sweden? We are currently looking to add several team members to the Customer Analysis Section (CAS) as part of DNB Large Corporates & International (LCI) in Stockholm.

DNB is Norway’s largest bank and one of the leading financial groups in the Nordic region. In Sweden, we are in an expansive and dynamic phase. Together with DNB Carnegie, the leading investment bank in the Nordics, we offer deep industry expertise, international presence, and tailored financial solutions that help our clients grow and develop in both Swedish and global markets.

About the role

As an Analyst/Corporate Analyst, you will be part of CAS, working in a collaborative, analytical, and client‑centric environment. CAS works closely with the bank’s client teams, engaging in dialogue with clients, client executives, and internal stakeholders to conduct risk assessments and financial analysis. These analyses form the basis for well‑founded business decisions aligned with the bank’s risk profile.

In this role, you will analyze the risk in new transactions including both prospects as well as financing events in a portfolio of existing clients. The client portfolio will comprise mid‑to large‑cap companies of varying complexity depending on your previous experience. You will conduct credit reviews, identify key risk drivers at both institutional and market levels, take ownership of the credit process and be a main contributor to the preparation of decision material for credit committees and senior stakeholders.

Depending on your experience, you will either support or take a leading role in driving analyses, client‑related processes, and presentations. The role involves close collaboration with both clients and internal stakeholders and offers opportunities to deepen your sector and product expertise, take on increased responsibility, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare credit analyses, risk assessments, and decision material for credit committees.
  • Support or lead the analytical process in new transactions, including preparation of internal credit documentation and coordination of approval processes and, where relevant, legal negotiations.
  • Monitor and manage credit risk within a client portfolio, including counterparty exposure, performance, market developments, and regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate closely with client teams and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and development of analytical methods and processes within the team.

Who we are looking for

  • Strong interest in financial markets and credit analysis. You may be early in your career or bring several years of relevant experience within credit risk, corporate banking, leveraged finance, or similar roles.
  • A strong analytical mindset combined with sound business judgment and a genuine interest in understanding companies and markets.
  • Ability to develop towards or already comfortable taking independent responsibility and interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • A relevant master’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, engineering, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills combined with high integrity.
  • A structured, proactive, and solution‑oriented way of working.
  • The ability to build trust and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to contribute to team development.

Applications should be submitted via the advertisement on Finance Recruitment’s website, with an ongoing selection process. We look forward to hearing from you!
