Job summary

Leap29 is seeking two Junior Cost Engineers to join a leading data centre project delivery team in Stockholm. You will support budgeting, forecasting and cost reporting under the guidance of Senior Cost Engineers and Project Managers.

Key responsibilities include cost management, project delivery, estimating and reporting, and close collaboration with engineers and managers to ensure projects meet financial targets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience at most.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure or data centre projects preferred.
• Strong analytical, numerical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project costs, commitments and commercial performance while helping identify risks and opportunities.
• Assist with cost estimates, project forecasts and financial reporting to support successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers and Cost Engineers to ensure projects stay financially on track.

We're currently looking for 2 Junior Cost Engineers to join a leading data centre project delivery team in Stockholm.

Working alongside Senior Cost Engineers and Project Managers, you'll support the commercial performance, cost control, estimating and financial management of large-scale mission critical infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Management: Support budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting, expenditure tracking and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Delivery: Monitor project costs, commitments and commercial performance while helping to identify risks and opportunities.

Estimating & Reporting: Assist with cost estimates, project forecasts and financial reporting to support successful project delivery.

Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Cost Engineers to ensure projects remain on track financially and commercially.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Project Controls or a related discipline
• Up to 2-3 years of professional experience
• Experience within construction, technical installations, infrastructure or data centre projects would be highly advantageous
• Strong analytical, numerical and communication skills
