Job summary

CAIA Cosmetics, a Stockholm-based global beauty brand, is expanding and seeks its first Quality and Regulatory Affairs Manager to build and lead the function.

You will combine hands-on regulatory work with creating processes that enable faster launches, new markets, and ongoing compliance, reporting to the Chief Product Officer within the Product team, collaborating with Development, Sourcing, Operations, Marketing, Sustainability and Legal, plus external partners.

Qualifications

• PIFs, CPSR, and CPNP notifications are required.
• Formulation, ingredient, and REACH compliance are essential.
• INCI lists, labeling, product claims, and substantiation are key responsibilities.
• Packaging compliance, including PPWR, must be ensured.
• GMP and ISO 22716 standards apply to testing and release.
• Stability, compatibility, and microbiological testing are part of the role.
• Regulatory assessments for launches are needed.

Responsibilities

• Build CAIA's Quality and Regulatory Affairs framework with clear ownership.
• Ensure EU cosmetics compliance and international requirements for tools and accessories.
• Own regulatory filings and registrations across markets with the Responsible Person.
• Review formulations and labeling, sign-off on claims after substantiation.
• Collaborate with Product Development from concept to launch and set timelines.
• Assess market entry requirements and create action checklists.
