The role is highly operational, bridging traditional banking regulation with modern AI-driven compliance solutions. You will own regulatory tracking, ensure audit readiness, and shape compliance workflows across our portfolio entities.

Qualifications

The Role

We are looking for a Compliance Manager who thrives at the intersection of regulatory precision, modern tech, and rapid execution. You will join our Chief Compliance Officer to build and shape 0TO9’s global compliance program from the ground up. In a fast-scaling environment, you will bridge traditional banking regulation with compliance solutions leveraging AI and automation to streamline processes. This is a highly operational, hands-on role where you will play a key part in safeguarding our growth while setting new standards for modern fintech compliance.

What you will do

Deliver pragmatic regulatory advisory and ensure end-to-end compliance across 0TO9 and our portfolio entities.

Take full ownership of compliance tracking, keeping our operations audit-ready and proactive.

Manage anti-money laundering (AML) and consumer credit regulations, ensuring robust risk management tailored to modern financial products.

Conduct continuous horizon scanning and trend analysis to interpret upcoming regulations, industry shifts, and supervisory developments.

Deeply understand modern banking products to translate complex regulatory requirements into smooth, actionable operational workflows.

Drive the digital transformation of compliance by integrating AI tools and automation with scalable systems.

Who you are

You bring roughly 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally from fintech, banking, or a fast-paced scaleup environment.

You hold a Law Degree (LL.M. / Juristkandidatexamen) or an equivalent legal education.

You thrive in a scaleup setting where no task is too big or too small. You seamlessly switch between high-level regulatory strategy and rolling up your sleeves to get things done.

You have a proven track record in AML execution, consumer credit regulations, and general regulatory compliance within financial services.

You naturally look for ways to automate manual routines. Experience with or a strong curiosity for leveraging AI tools in compliance work is a major plus.

You understand what makes a bank work, grasp financial products quickly, and turn regulatory requirements into commercial enablers.

You communicate clearly and build trust across teams – with founders, investors, and regulators alike.

You lead through expertise and trust, not hierarchy.

You are humble and bring good energy to the team – while holding firm on your integrity.
