Job summary

INGKA Services AB in Malmö, Sweden, seeks a communications professional to serve as Communication Business Partner, driving 360° communications both internally and externally. You will bridge business needs with clear, strategic messaging and collaborate across Media Relations, Public Affairs, Co-worker Comms and Campaigning to support key priorities.

The role requires 9+ years of related experience, strong English communication, and the ability to navigate in changing times while upholding IKEA

• Enjoy being the bridge between the business and communication, and are rooted in the business at the same time as you master the field of communication
• Have the ability to act and advise on strategic matters, as well as role up your sleeves and create clear and concise communication.
• Are curious about new tools and ways of working, such as AI
• Don’t need all the answers but can navigate in the unknown and create clarity.
• Are excellent in English, both verbal and written with the IKEA Tone of voice.
• Have a minimum 9 years of related experience.
• Last but certainly not least, you are rooted in the IKEA values, leading yourself and others to lead and learn in ever‑changing times.

What you’ll be doing day to day

You will drive IKEA’s growth through 360° communications, both internally and externally. As well as collaborating across teams in Media Relations, Public Affairs & Advocacy, Co‑worker Comms and Campaigning and supporting key priorities whilst keeping stakeholders, customers, and co‑workers at heart.

To be concrete, when positioning IKEA, enable better business outcomes and empower people, this means that you will:

Assignments:

• Lead communication for a business area or topics, developing insight‑driven 360 communication plans that align with Ingka’s business direction and IKEA brand ambitions. Develop and execute both external 360 and internal communication, from a global or country perspective.
• Partner with business owners to translate strategies and changes into clear, consistent and accessible communication that supports understanding, engagement and decision‑making.
• Collaborate closely with Communication Business Partners and cross‑functional teams to secure alignment, coordinate planning and ensure communication contributes effectively to both business results and long‑term brand building.
• Drive and produce impactful storytelling and communication assets and that brings the IKEA brand, culture and values to life across channels, ensuring clarity, simplicity and alignment with tone‑of‑voice standards.
• Use insights, performance data and common frameworks to shape communication decisions, secure prioritisation and continuously improve planning and delivery.
• Strategic, tactical, and operational communication work.
• Working proactively in situations where you need to navigate in the unknown.

This is permanent role, located in Malmö, Sweden.
