Job summary

atNorth is seeking a Commercial Manager based in Stockholm to oversee financial and contractual aspects of data center development projects. You will ensure financial efficiency, cash flow management, and procurement governance across a fast-growing, international environment.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, risk analysis, and contract negotiations, partnering with procurement, PM and construction teams to optimize costs and maximize project value.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years in commercial management, preferably in construction or infrastructure.
• Strong budget, cost control, and procurement expertise.
• Proven track record in contracts, claims and variations.
• Analytical mindset with independent problem-solving approach.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a proactive style.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced scale-up environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and financial management of data center infrastructure projects, including budgeting, cash flow forecasting, financial modelling and risk assessment.
• Monitor project costs, supplier agreements, payment applications and financial risks to drive cost control and performance.
• Oversee contract negotiations and commercial administration throughout the project lifecycle, including changes and compliance.
• Provide commercial input to investment cases and key project decisions with clear financial implications.
• Collaborate with procurement, project management and construction teams to ensure sound commercial decisions.
• Translate customer and project requirements into commercial and financial implications for negotiations.
• Provide strong commercial leadership and financial discipline to protect project value and profitability.
• Contribute to development of commercial processes, governance, and best practices.

Your profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial management, preferably in construction or infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in budget preparation, cost control, and procurement processes.
• Proven track record in managing complex contracts, claims, and variations.
• Analytical and meticulous mindset with an independent approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a proactive, diplomatic style.
• Resilience under pressure and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
• Passion for both high-level financial strategy and hands-on project execution.
