Job summary

Volvo Cars in Gothenburg is seeking a Test and Process Engineer for the Vehicle Propulsion & Climate Test Centre. You will operate the test facility and manage large ammonia-based cooling plants, with day and evening shifts, on-call duties, and a focus on safety and documentation.

The role combines operational execution with strategic planning for cooling plant development. Fluency in Swedish and English, a relevant YH/KY diploma or equivalent, and experience with digital tools are required.

Qualifications

• Higher vocational education diploma or equivalent qualification or experience.
• Structured, safety-minded and committed; fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing; experience with digital tools; B driving license required.
• Meritorious experience: cooling systems, natural refrigerants and industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate test cell for different types of tests.
• Ensure operation of cooling plants.
• Develop strategies for future work in cooling plants with colleagues.
• Perform operator maintenance and troubleshooting in the rig and cooling plant.
• Document measures and maintenance.
• Participate in risk analyses and method development.
