The Propulsion Electronics Lab is Volvo Cars' center for testing electric machines, inverters, and power electronics. As we move into the future, we rely on state-of-the-art methods to test and verify next-generation electric machines, inverters and power electronics in a highly efficient and accurate way.
To meet upcoming challenges, we are expanding and enhancing our test facilities to secure the capability to test, verify, and validate electric machines, inverters, and power electronics. At the same time, we continuously develop our test methods to ensure we verify next-generation cars effectively and correctly.

Then the role as Test Facility Engineer within Propulsion Electronics Labs is the perfect opportunity for you.
As a Test facility engineer, you will play a central role in defining both functional and non-functional requirements including safety concepts and method development for our complex test environments as well as for our external testing. To do this, you will gather, analyze, and balance the needs from a wide range of stakeholders.
Your mission is to ensure that we build the right environments with the right capabilities to meet verification demands. You will also work on extending existing test capabilities and ensuring that new test environments are seamlessly integrated into our current software infrastructure.
Our test environment portfolio covers a broad spectrum of propulsion-related verification areas. Because of this, how you best contribute will depend on your competence and experience.
