The Client & Media Manager holds commercial and operational responsibility for communications and media planning for key clients at T&P Sweden. The role bridges broad channel expertise, hands‑on media execution, and client advisory with a proactive approach to project management, campaign delivery, and relationship building.
Working in close alignment with the Nordic Media Director and the Nordic Client lead - the Client & Media Manager serves as a primary day‑to‑day contact for key clients, holding the mandate to shape and influence communications plans through integrated paid, owned, and earned media. The role blends strategic advisory with direct campaign execution, project follow‑up, and specialist collaboration to deliver innovative and effective media solutions that drive client business results.

Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Project Management
- Serve as a primary day‑to‑day contact for key client relationships, driving trusted business dialogues, project progress, and high client satisfaction.
- Take ownership of project execution, timelines, deliverables, and campaign follow‑up, coordinating seamlessly between creative teams, media specialists, and external partners.
- Build strong, trust‑based client relationships, acting as a solution‑oriented partner across communications and media disciplines.
- Understand client business objectives and translate marketing challenges into actionable media briefs and holistic channel recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and drive service development with existing clients to support account growth.
Channel Strategy, Media Planning & Execution
- Develop holistic cross‑channel media plans (Digital, Social, Programmatic, Broadcaster/TV, OOH, Print) firmly grounded in client business goals and KPIs.
- Define channel selection, budget allocation, and tactical priorities informed by market insights, target audience data, and performance analysis.
- Plan and execute direct media buys (IOs) across relevant channels, ensuring all media plans are realistic, actionable, and thoroughly documented.
- Brief, challenge, and collaborate with internal specialists (Search, Social, Programmatic, Analytics) and MM&D teams in WPP to ensure channel alignment and high‑quality campaign activation.
- Ensure that media execution actively supports and drives the client’s campaign goals.
Financial Management, Analysis & Reporting
- Assist in managing campaign budgets, estimates, invoicing, and financial accuracy for designated client projects.
- Monitor, optimize, and report on campaign performance, utilizing data and analytical tools to measure effectiveness against agreed KPIs.
- Present post‑campaign results, key learnings, and actionable recommendations to clients to ensure continuous campaign optimization.
- Ensure cost‑effective media planning that maximizes ROI and budget utility for client campaigns.
Quality, Process & Innovation
- Work in a structured manner adhering to established best practices, guidelines, and frameworks for media planning and execution.
- Identify and implement new media, ad tech, and channel opportunities, bringing fresh, value‑adding ideas to client briefs.
- Actively contribute to managing and improving internal tools, templates, and processes for efficient cross‑functional collaboration.
Team & Organizational Contribution
- Work in close collaboration with the Nordic Media Director, Nordic Media lead,Client Directors, and specialist leads to ensure seamless delivery and strategic alignment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, media market developments, and consumer insights.
- Actively share knowledge, learnings, and best practices with team members to strengthen collective expertise across T&P.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (Mid‑to‑Senior level) from a media agency, integrated agency, or similar role focusing on communications strategy, media planning, and client and project management.
- Solid understanding of the Swedish and the Nordic media landscape across both digital/performance channels and traditional media.
- Strong grasp of how paid, owned, and earned channels interplay throughout the customer journey to drive measurable business results.
- Ability to work in a structured, detailed, and efficient manner across multiple parallel projects and campaigns.
- Analytical capability with experience using data and insights to build rationale, drive campaign optimization, and present clear recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in Swedish and English.
- Proactive, solution‑oriented, and structured mindset with a passion for continuous personal and professional development.
