Job summary

Beta is seeking a Client Associate - Fund Operations to support fund administration and accounting services for a dedicated client in Stockholm. This role is ideal for candidates with over 5 years of experience in fund operations or related fields, eager to learn and grow within a fast‑moving FinTech environment.

You'll work closely with senior colleagues and clients, contributing to fund operations while honing your analytical skills and gaining valuable experience.

Client Associate - Fund Operations

We're now looking for a Client Associate - Fund Operations who wants to build a career within fund administration while working closely with one dedicated client. You'll spend time at the client's office, gain hands‑on experience across fund operations, and work alongside experienced colleagues who will support your development.

About the role

As Client Associate, you'll support the delivery of fund administration and accounting services for one dedicated client. You'll work closely with senior colleagues and gradually take on greater responsibility as your expertise grows.

You'll be based at the client's office 2-3 days per week, giving you a unique opportunity to understand their business, build relationships, and develop into a trusted operational partner over time.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining analytical work with client interaction and wants to grow within a fast‑moving FinTech environment.

Main responsibilities

• Support fund administration activities, including accounting, drawdowns, distributions, capital calls, NAV calculations, and financial reporting
• Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders and support day‑to‑day communication
• Assist with investor reporting, reconciliations, and operational processes across the fund lifecycle
• Coordinate with internal teams including compliance, legal, AML/KYC, technology, and onboarding
• Support accounting and reporting for management companies and related entities
• Help identify opportunities to improve processes through automation, AI tools, and digital solutions
• Develop expertise in your client's fund structures, reporting requirements, and operational processes
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the broader Embankment team

About you

You have a solid foundation in fund operations, accounting, or financial services. You're curious, detail‑oriented, and motivated to learn from experienced colleagues while taking increasing ownership of your work.

You bring

• 5+ years of experience within fund operations, fund accounting, audit, financial services, or a related field
• Interest in alternative investments such as private equity, venture capital, or real estate
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel
• Excellent communication skills in English; Swedish is a plus
