Job summary

Scania seeks a Chief Technology Officer to lead Technology and Product Development. You will create a high-performing engineering organization delivering products with predictability, quality, and customer value.

Reporting to the CEO, you will shape technology direction and ensure battery solutions meet market needs. As CTO, you will align cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and manage relationships with customers, partners, and executive stakeholders to accelerate Scania’s electrification

Qualifications

Experience building and leading engineering, technology, product development, or R&D teams.
Strong track record delivering complex tech programs from concept to deployment.
Knowledge of battery systems, electrification, and related technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead a multidisciplinary engineering organization and set teams up for success.
Drive product development from concept through validation, industrialization and lifecycle management.
Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial and Compliance to enable scalable growth.
Represent the technology organization in discussions with customers, partners and executives.
Shape long-term technology roadmap ensuring innovation, customer value and business needs align.
