Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Västerås, Sweden, seeks an experienced laboratory analyst to support chemical and physical analyses for the Fuel Factory's production. You will help maintain ISO 17025 accreditation and collaborate with a small team on method development and quality control.

The role requires 3+ years in a lab, chemistry-focused education, strong communication, and fluency in Swedish and English; ICP-MS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education with focus on chemistry, or equivalent knowledge through experience.

About The Role

Within the Division of Quality and Process Development, the analysis laboratory for chemical and physical analyses are responsible of samples from products, process fluids, residual materials and emission analyses from the Fuel Factory's production. We are also responsible for maintaining the accreditation of the lab according to ISO 17025 and for the development and validation of the methods and equipment that we use for analyses. We have both daytime and shift staff among our 20 employees, who have responsibilities in routine chemical analysis, physical control, analysis quality, development of analysis methods, instrument technology and planning.

You will report to our Production leader and be located at Västerås, Sweden.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with analyses and reporting results from the chemial process
