  • Experience working with ERP systems and inventory management processes.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficiency in both Swedish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

At Avantor, we are looking for a Cell Bank Coordinator to join our team in Mölndal. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working at the intersection of inventory management, production planning, and supply chain operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring materials are available when needed, inventory records remain accurate, and production schedules run smoothly. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders across Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Purchasing, and external suppliers to support uninterrupted production and service excellence.

What You'll Do

As a Cell Bank Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing inventory-related activities and ensuring material availability to support manufacturing and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Reviewing inventory levels daily and proactively resolving inventory, planning, and supply chain issues.
  • Confirming production orders and monitoring completion schedules to ensure timely execution.
  • Investigating and reconciling inventory discrepancies related to production materials.
  • Managing open orders that impact inventory availability and production schedules.
  • Processing pack orders and re-grades in collaboration with Customer Service and Operations teams.
  • Ensuring materials are available, complete, and ready for production according to schedule requirements.
  • Performing and reconciling cycle counts together with warehouse and distribution teams.
  • Communicating with suppliers regarding deliveries and proof of delivery documentation.
  • Coordinating internal and external stock checks when required.
  • Reviewing and resolving issues related to expiry dates, duplicate shipments, overages, incorrect goods receipts, and replacements.
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies between inventory management and ERP systems.
  • Collaborating with Purchasing to optimize forecasting, replenishment strategies, and inventory investments.
  • Monitoring material and capacity constraints to support on-time delivery performance.
  • Identifying and initiating Bill of Materials (BOM) updates to improve data accuracy.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within inventory and supply chain processes.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a regulated environment such as Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, or Healthcare.
  • Knowledge of forecasting, replenishment planning, and inventory optimization.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and production planning processes.
  • Experience with BOM management and data accuracy initiatives.
