The Opportunity

Executes day‑to‑day inventory & material management tasks at customer facilities, following a defined standard output or set of procedures. Holds a Logistics Coordinator (Chemical Stores) role, covering a 12‑month parental leave replacement in Mölndal, Sweden.

The position is full‑time, permanent, and requires staying active throughout the day in the laboratory and logistics area – the role is not office‑based.

Background: Avantor’s laboratories in Mölndal focus on drug development and commercial‑scale pharmaceutical production. The role includes an attractive salary with bonus, pension scheme, private medical care, and more.

The Team

The Logistics Coordinator works with a small team of three associates, handling incoming chemicals and delivering them to the laboratories where scientists need them to advance research. Team members belong to the Lab and Production Services department supporting major pharmaceutical companies and laboratories.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment with chemicals, familiarity with goods‑in, goods‑out processes is highly desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Excellent communication skills in English (fluent) and Swedish (at least intermediate level).
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Teams, Outlook) and experience with delivery tracking systems.
• Outstanding attention to detail.

How You’ll Create an Impact

• Receive and unpack deliveries, ensuring the package matches the order and accurately logging all deliveries in the computer system.
• Distribute chemicals to the correct laboratories and ensure they are stored in appropriate locations.
• Register all chemical handling activities in the system, ensuring traceability.
• Manage and refill the chemical point of use.
• Maintain on‑site chemical inventory levels by counting stock and checking expiration dates.
