Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Controller for the Medium Gas Turbine (MGT) Product Line within Gas Services Distributed Global Service Operations. You will be a finance partner to product leadership, steering the financial performance and transforming data into strategic insights.

The role focuses on controlling processes, accuracy of monthly reports, and cross-regional alignment. We value data-driven decision making, process optimization, and strong collaboration with global service controllers.

Qualifications

• University degree in business/finance with international experience is preferred.
• Experience with reporting, forecasting, planning, and performance steering is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret and visualize complex financial data for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted finance business partner to the Medium Gas Turbine Product Line and drive financial performance.
• Own the controlling cycle: monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and planning.
• Analyze Actuals and Forecasts with a critical, solution-oriented mindset.
• Perform variance analysis on Orders, Revenue, Profit, and Free Cash Flow and explain drivers.

Join us as a Controller for our Medium Gas Turbine (MGT) Product Line within Gas Services Distributed Global Service Operations! In this dynamic role, you will be a vital finance partner to the Product Line and operational management, steering and optimizing the financial performance of the MGT service business. You will analyze data, identify trends, and provide critical guidance on all controlling-related matters. Collaborating closely with Product Line leadership and the global service business controlling team, you will ensure alignment across regions. Every day presents opportunities to enhance processes, digitalize workflows, and deepen your analytical skills, transforming data into valuable strategic insights.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Act as a trusted finance business partner to the Medium Gas Turbine Product Line, driving transparency and steering financial performance.
• Own the controlling cycle for the MGT service business, ensuring accuracy, high quality, and timely delivery of monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and planning.
• Analyze financial data and independently evaluate Actuals and Forecasts with a critical, solution-oriented mindset.
• Perform variance analysis on Orders, Revenue, Profit, and Free Cash Flow, clearly explaining the key drivers.
• Prepare management-ready analyses, commentary, and presentations for MOR reviews, forecast reviews, and leadership discussions.

What You Bring

• A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance/Accounting, or a related field, with relevant professional experience in controlling/financial analysis, ideally in an international environment.
• Experience in reporting, forecasting, planning, and performance steering, ideally within the Gas Services/service business, is an advantage.
• Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret, structure, and visualize complex financial data for diverse internal stakeholders.
• High proficiency in digital tools and a strong interest in process optimization and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in English; Swedish or German is a plus.
