Job summary
Gedea Biotech AB, based in Lund, Sweden, seeks a strategic Finance & Operations Director to lead financial management, governance, and operational excellence. You will oversee budgeting, reporting, audits and investor relations, while supporting fundraising and strategic business decisions.
In this role you will collaborate with the CEO, board and investors to scale the company responsibly, ensuring financial controls and scalable processes across functions.
Qualifications
- University level education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 6-12 years of relevant experience in finance roles.
- Experience in biotech or regulated industries preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights.
- Experience with fundraising and investor relations is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial management, governance and operational excellence.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, audits and cash flow management.
- Manage investor relations, communications and fundraising activities.
- Develop financial controls and risk management frameworks.
- Support commercial rollout, inventory and supply planning finance.
