Job summary

Crane Currency in Tumba, Sweden, seeks a Bid Manager to lead the full bid process for global opportunities. You will collaborate with internal teams to produce accurate, well-structured proposals aligned with client expectations and Crane Currency standards.

The role requires a business degree, fluency in English and Spanish or French, and more than five years in bid management. You will oversee pricing, documentation, translations, and the handover to Contract Managers with emphasis on accuracy

Qualifications

• Academic degree in business administration.
• Fluent in English and in Spanish or French.
• More than 5 years’ experience in bid management or similar positions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all submitted bids align with Crane Currency’s capabilities, capacities, and contractual terms and conditions, maintaining consistency with internal standards and client expectations
• Collect relevant pricing information and operational KPIs to develop detailed cost calculations that represent the true cost of the proposed products or services
• Provide written and verbal translations of technical or commercial specifications as needed
• Prepare, compile, and submit bid responses with a high level of professionalism and accuracy, utilizing appropriate marketing tools and proactively identifying and requesting new tools to address any existing gaps
• Oversee the smooth transition of successful bids to Contract Managers, ensuring continuity and clarity throughout the handover process
• Adhere to all company safety policies, ensuring the correct use of personal protective equipment and exercising sound judgment to promote a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries
• Organize and lead pricing meetings, including the preparation of comprehensive pricing sheets that accurately reflect all aspects of the tender

Your role is in Tumba, Stockholm, located in the historic Tumba Bruk area, ten‑minute walking distance from the train station, 30 km south of Stockholm, and about 20 minutes from Stockholm Central Station.
