Job summary

Koenigsegg is seeking a Battery Algorithms Software Engineer to join our High Voltage and Battery team in Sweden. You will develop advanced algorithms and software for high‑voltage battery systems, collaborating with cross‑functional engineers from concept to integration.

You will translate models into production‑quality embedded C code, optimize performance for embedded hardware, and support BMS software, diagnostics, and vehicle validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, EE, control engineering or related field.
• Experience in battery modelling and SoX algorithm development.
• Strong C programming skills for embedded/real-time systems.
• Solid understanding of lithium-ion battery behaviour and BMS concepts.
• Ability to analyze large test data and translate into robust algorithms.
• Experience with software testing, debugging, and version control.
• Clear communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink modelling is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate battery algorithms and embedded software for high-voltage systems.
• Translate models and prototype algorithms into production-quality embedded C code.
• Optimize algorithms for execution time, memory usage, and hardware constraints.
• Define software requirements, interfaces, diagnostics, and verification methods.
• Develop test plans, environments, and perform software and algorithm testing.
• Support BMS software integration, testing, release, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and support OBD diagnostic functionality for battery systems.
