Job summary

RDT Sweden AB is seeking an experienced Battery Software Engineer to join an automotive engineering project focused on battery software, energy management, charging and control systems. You will collaborate across system design, model-based development, calibration and data analysis within cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in battery software, energy management or charging systems.
• Master's degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic/Control/Mechatronics or automotive engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Practical experience with INCA, CANalyzer and Vector tools.
• Solid understanding of system design, model-based development, requirements engineering, calibration and data analysis.
• Experience with ASPICE and ISO 26262.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Git.

Responsibilities

• Develop and calibrate battery and energy-management software.
• Implement control algorithms and optimize energy use.
• Work with high-voltage battery systems and power management.
• Develop state-of-charge estimation and related battery control functions.
• Engage in requirements engineering and system design.
• Calibration and data analysis in product development.
• Collaborate using Azure DevOps and Git across automotive teams.
• Support cross-functional product development within automotive sector.
• Follow ASPICE and ISO 26262 guidelines.
