Job summary

ALTEN Sweden is seeking a Senior Design Engineer with expertise in Battery Enclosure Mechanics to join an automotive project in Gothenburg. You will contribute to the design and delivery of battery enclosure solutions that ensure vehicle safety, performance and durability.

You will work with CATIA V5 and Teamcenter/TCPLM, design aluminum and steel components, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage priorities in a fast-paced development environment.

Qualifications

• Background in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in CATIA V5 and experience with Teamcenter/TCPLM.
• Experience designing aluminum and steel components.
• Experience with HPDC and mechanical design.
• Ability to work in a changing priority environment and meet short deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and balance competing requests.
• Solution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components for battery enclosure systems.
• Use CATIA V5 for concept development and detailed design.
• Use Teamcenter/TCPLM for product data management and documentation.
