Job summary

Ericsson in Stockholm is seeking two Baseband Developers (L1) early in their careers to contribute to the Baseband Software powering 5G networks and future 6G innovations. You will join an agile team focused on the Physical Layer, designing, coding, and validating core software in C/C++ and Python.

You will work across the full software lifecycle, gain exposure to AI-powered tooling, and collaborate with engineers across the organization to deliver high-quality, secure mobile network products.

Qualifications

• MSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Communications, or a related field.
• Strong interest in embedded software and real-time systems.
• Solid programming skills in C/C++.
• Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Curiosity, initiative, and a passion for technology.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Interest in modern engineering practices, including AI-powered development tools and Agentic AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain baseband software in C/C++ and Python.
• Study, implement, and verify new features for 5G networks while contributing to future 6G solutions.
• Solve complex technical challenges in a real-time embedded software environment.
• Utilize AI and Agentic AI tools to enhance software development, debugging, testing, analysis, and productivity.
• Collaborate in a diverse, cross-functional, and multicultural team with experienced engineers.
