Job summary

Basta is opening a new chapter in Västerås, Sweden, and is seeking a dynamic Bar Manager to lead the bar team with energy, structure and personality. You’ll build a strong bar operation, deliver smooth service and uphold Basta's hospitality standards as part of Urban Italian Group.

You will work closely with the General Manager and the restaurant team to ensure fast, organised service and an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as Bar Manager, Head Bartender or senior bartender.
• Understanding of cocktails, drinks quality, stock control and fast-paced service.
• Able to lead and motivate a team with confidence and fairness.
• Organised, hands-on and calm during busy services.
• Take ownership of standards and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Leading the daily bar operation and keeping service smooth, fast and consistent.
• Training, coaching and supporting the bar team from opening onwards.
• Maintaining high standards in drinks quality, presentation, cleanliness and guest experience.
• Managing stock, ordering, wastage and bar cost control.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding and development of the bar team.
• Working closely with the GM and FOH team to create a great restaurant atmosphere.
• Bringing energy, ownership and Basta personality to the bar every day.

The Role

This role is for someone who brings energy, structure and personality to the bar. You will be responsible for building a strong bar team, delivering smooth service, keeping standards consistent, and making sure the bar feels like a key part of the Basta guest experience.
