Job summary

Jeppesen ForeFlight in Gothenburg, Sweden, seeks a System Configuration Developer to join our Digital Solutions & Analytics Implementation team. You will configure and implement advanced planning and optimization systems, working closely with clients to translate needs into effective solutions.

Join a global team of professionals, collaborating with developers and analysts, and contributing to programming tasks primarily in Python.

Qualifications

2+ years of relevant professional experience.
Hands-on experience with Python.
Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Experience working directly with clients or end users.
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Experience within airline operations (e.g., crew planning, scheduling) is a plus.
Knowledge of version control systems like Git, GitLab, or GitHub is a plus.
Experience working in Linux environments is a plus.
Understanding of software testing and/or functional programming principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

Configure and implement advanced planning and optimization systems.
Work closely with customers to understand their needs and translate them into solutions.
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other teams to solve technical challenges.
Contribute to programming and customization tasks (primarily in Python and internal language).
Support workshops, requirement gathering, and solution validation.
Build long-term client relationships and ensure successful deliveries.
