Job summary

Tata Technologies is seeking a Software Engineering Analyst to join our CAPS team in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will validate, verify, and fault-trace central application software in the vehicle system, working with HW, SW and System engineering teams.

You will test across various environments and contribute to automated CI workflows, leveraging tools like CANalyzer, INCA, and DSA while expanding your knowledge across multiple domains.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer / Electrical / IT Engineering, Mechatronics or similar area.
• Proven experience in software testing in automotive.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with vehicle systems and ECUs.
• Ability to read and interpret logs, traces, and diagnostic data.
• Hands-on experience in test design and execution.
• Familiar with debugging tools and test frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI and automation (Git, Zuul, CMake, Bazel), automotive communication and ISO 26262.
• CAPL and Python programming.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to ensure correctness and quality of central application software in the vehicle system.
• Test across multiple environments – cars, boxcars, VIL and HIL rigs.
• Contribute to automated workflows with CI and testing of new software.
• Work with HW, SW and System engineering teams to expand knowledge across fields.
