Job summary

Sway Sourcing in Gothenburg is seeking a Financial Controller to support the financial management of vehicle programs across milestones. You will partner with Program Management and cross-functional teams to provide financial transparency and drive informed decisions throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include CAPEX and manufacturing cost controls, BOM cost development, and long-term planning.

Qualifications

3–10 years of experience in financial controlling or financial analyst roles.
Excellent analytical capabilities.
Strong Excel skills and experience handling data.
Experience in controlling, including setting targets and monitoring performance.
Strong project management skills and cross-functional coordination.
Understanding of cost and revenue drivers within the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

Manage and communicate the financial development of model-year programs against targets, budgets, and milestones.
Act as a financial business partner to Program Management, providing reliable information and decision support.
Coordinate financial input from multiple functions to ensure accurate planning and reporting.
Consolidate and present investment, cost, and profitability information for key milestones.
Support CAPEX decisions, product profitability, and long-term financial planning.
Analyse manufacturing and transfer-pricing structures with stakeholders.
Develop business cases and cost-improvement initiatives for manufacturing operations.
Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide actionable insights.
