Job summary

Senna is seeking an Automation Engineer to develop and modify PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications for industrial systems. You will translate requirements into control logic and integrate sensors, drives and equipment.

You will test, troubleshoot, commission, and document systems while supporting operations teams on site and at customer locations. The role requires experience in industrial automation, proficiency with major platforms, and strong English communication; Swedish is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Broad experience in industrial automation or control systems.
• Experience with at least one major platform (Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT, ABB or Rockwell).
• Understanding of electrical diagrams, industrial communication and control principles.
• Relevant technical education or equivalent practical experience.
• Good communication in English; Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify PLC, HMI and SCADA applications.
• Translate functional requirements into control logic.
• Integrate sensors, drives and other industrial equipment.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting and commissioning.
• Prepare technical documentation and support users and maintenance teams.
