Job summary

Byggvärlden is seeking an Automation Engineer with expertise in control systems. Your main responsibilities will be to develop and optimize automation systems for manufacturing equipment while collaborating with production, process, and software engineers. You will ensure that systems meet effectiveness and reliability standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Automation or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in industrial automation. You must also have expertise in programming PLCs and managing industrial communication protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA solutions.
• Experience in process-driven or discrete manufacturing industries.
• Ability to travel for supplier visits and different factory locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation systems and specifications for production equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system requirements.
• Provide troubleshooting and automation support for manufacturing equipment.
