Job summary

CAIA Cosmetics, a Stockholm-based global beauty brand, is opening a new store in Gothenburg and seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead the team and deliver an outstanding in-store experience.

As part of the store leadership team, you will lead by example in delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, including stock, merchandising, reporting and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management or assistant management, ideally within beauty.
• Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate a team.
• Passionate about beauty products and trends, with eye for detail and creativity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a proactive attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Makeup artist experience is a plus.

• Assist in managing stock levels, deliveries, and ensuring efficient store operations, including opening and closing procedures.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be a key part of our store leadership team, working closely with the Store Manager to deliver an outstanding in-store experience. You’ll lead by example in delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and ensuring smooth day-to-day store operations.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Proven experience in retail management or assistant management, ideally within the beauty industry.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

• Passionate about beauty products and trends, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with customers and team members.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Previous experience as a makeup artist is a plus, but not required.

Please note that availability on weekends, during holiday periods, and during peak activity times is a requirement for this position.
