Job summary

Hultafors Group in Gothenburg/Stockholm seeks an Application Specialist ERP to strengthen and develop our ERP landscape, ensuring stability, continuous improvement, and efficient use of ERP across the Group.

You will configure, support, and optimize ERP solutions, collaborate with business stakeholders and IT, participate in upgrades and release management, and help drive value through process improvements and strong documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Information Systems, Business Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with ERP platforms in a support, specialist, consulting or application management role.
• Understanding of Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement or Logistics processes.
• Experience with application configuration, incident management and process improvements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good English communication.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize ERP solutions and related business applications.
• Provide advanced application support and troubleshoot complex incidents and problems.
• Support integrations and data flows between ERP and surrounding systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify improvements.

• Create and maintain application documentation, knowledge articles, and procedures.
• Work closely with vendors and implementation partners.

At Hultafors Group, business-critical applications are at the heart of our operations. We are now looking for an Application Specialist ERP who wants to play a key role in ensuring stability, continuous improvement, and efficient utilization of our ERP platform across the Group.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, IT colleagues, external partners, and application vendors to secure a reliable and future-proof ERP environment.

About The Role

As an Application Specialist ERP, you will be responsible for the configuration, support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our ERP solutions. You will act as an important bridge between business processes and technology, ensuring that our ERP platform supports the needs of our operations today while enabling future growth.

You will work both proactively and operationally, handling enhancements, troubleshooting complex issues, supporting projects, and collaborating with users to create business value.

What You Will Do

You will:

• Configure, maintain, and optimize ERP solutions and related business applications.
• Provide advanced application support and troubleshoot complex incidents and problems.

Who You Are

You likely have:

• A degree within IT, Information Systems, Business Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with ERP platforms in a support, specialist, consulting, or application management role.
• Understanding of business processes within areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, or Logistics.
• Experience working with application configuration, incident management, and process improvements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English.

Meritorious Qualifications

It is considered an advantage if you have experience within one or more of the following areas:

• iScala ERP
• ERP implementation or upgrade projects
• Integrations and APIs
• Manufacturing or distribution environments
• ITIL-based service management
• Microsoft Azure and modern cloud platforms
