Job summary

YORA is seeking an Android Platform Software Engineer to work at platform level, building software that runs in next‑generation automotive infotainment systems. This role goes beyond app development, touching AOSP, C++, HALs and platform services for in‑vehicle applications.

You will join an experienced team, contributing to the Android Automotive‑based platform across system services, frameworks and native components, while collaborating closely with hardware and validation teams to ensure

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of professional software development experience
• Experience with Android beyond the application layer
• Proficiency in C++ development and debugging
• Experience with Android Framework and system services
• Experience with Embedded software development
• Familiarity with CI/CD, preferably Jenkins
• Strong English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android platform functionality based on AOSP
• Work with Android Framework, system services and native C++ components
• Develop and integrate HALs (Hardware Abstraction Layers)
• Work with hardware and platform APIs in an automotive environment
• Support Android version upgrades, API changes and platform migrations
• Debug issues across different layers of the Android stack
• Contribute to design discussions, code reviews and technical improvements
• Work with automated builds, testing and CI/CD
• Collaborate with software, hardware and validation teams
