Job summary

SIRI AB invites a skilled software engineer to join our team working on cutting-edge automotive infotainment systems. The role focuses on Android Automotive OS development with emphasis on mobile phone integration, UI testing, and hardware-software troubleshooting.

Start date is early April, with some flexibility. You'll collaborate in a cross-functional Scrum team, develop robust applications for Android Automotive OS, and contribute to certification readiness for platforms like SPA2.

Qualifications

• Experience with Kotlin, C/C++, and Java in embedded systems.
• Familiarity with Android Automotive OS development tools and processes.
• Experience with Scrum and hybrid work environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate robust, user-friendly applications for Android Automotive OS platforms.
• Design and test user interfaces, including implementing UI/screenshot testing processes.
• Contribute to driver development and ensure seamless software integration.
• Troubleshoot and debug hardware-software interactions, especially involving USB and other peripherals.
• Work with development boards featuring control, sensor, and screen accessories to optimise performance and compatibility.
• Participate in Scrum-based workflows, including daily stand-ups and occasional evening calls.
• Support critical certification phases with flexibility for overtime and onsite collaboration when needed.
