Job summary

Truecaller is hiring a Software Engineer Android to design, build, and maintain core platform components that power our app features. You will contribute to architecture, code quality, and delivery cadence for networking, performance, tooling, and shared libraries.

You will shape long-term technical direction, participate in design discussions, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring high-quality releases and timely bug fixes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Android development experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Android SDK.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Java.
• Proficient understanding of Git versioning.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Excellent debugging skills.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Write code with high-quality standards.
• Deliver complex features and optimize performance.
• Increase test coverage and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
