Job summary

Cytiva Sweden AB in Uppsala, Sweden seeks a Research Engineer for the Extractables & Leachables team within the Start to Finish department. The role focuses on analytical chemistry, method development, and validation support in a temporary assignment from January 17, 2027 to July 16, 2027, onsite in Uppsala.

Responsibilities include planning and performing E&L analyses, using GC-MS and related techniques, developing and troubleshooting methods, and documenting results in line with quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Hands-on lab experience with sample prep, analysis and data interpretation.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development projects by applying analytical chemistry expertise throughout product development and lifecycle.
• Plan, perform and evaluate Extractables & Leachables analyses for new and existing products.
• Perform analytical testing with GC-MS and other applicable methods; interpret and document results.
• Develop, optimize and troubleshoot analytical methods to meet project requirements.
• Analyse experiments and provide technical input to project teams.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality and cross-functional teams to support objectives.
• Document work and results per quality procedures.
