Job summary

Nordnet seeks a Data Scientist to join the AIR (AI & Research) function, embedding with the AI Platform team in Stockholm. You will enable the organisation with strong AI capabilities, building and operating end-to-end AI pipelines in a GCP-based environment.

You will work with platform engineers across the lifecycle, focusing on architecture, evaluation, and governance to ensure compliant, scalable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer or AI Engineer with a university degree.
• Strong skills in Python for exploration and production code, and SQL for data analysis.
• Experience with ML/AI evaluation, metrics, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production AI pipelines from experimentation through deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineers throughout the development cycle on architecture and implementation.
• Drive quality through evaluation, metrics, and testing of AI solutions.
• Champion AI governance in line with the bank's regulatory framework.
