QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey is seeking data engineers to build foundational data infrastructure powering cutting-edge AI applications. You will design scalable pipelines, manage secure data environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare data for AI-driven systems.

You will tackle real-world challenges by contributing to next-generation AI capabilities and collaborating with diverse experts across industries.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
Experience in data-focused roles with Python and SQL.
Strong coding in Python with clean, well-documented code.
Knowledge of data platforms (Databricks/Snowflake/BigQuery) and cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD, and DevOps concepts.

Responsibilities

Build foundational data infrastructure powering AI applications with LLMs, retrieval systems, workflows, and agentic architectures.
Design and maintain scalable data pipelines; manage secure data environments; prepare data for AI systems with cross-functional collaboration.
Contribute to next-generation AI systems and grow as a technologist alongside diverse experts.
Help solve complex, high-impact client challenges across industries with QuantumBlack teams.
