Job summary

Bookboost AB is seeking a Data Engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for analytics and ML. You will own end-to-end data movement from ingestion to storage, enabling AI features and personalized experiences for hospitality clients.

You will work with AWS-based pipelines, PySpark and containerised infrastructure, taking ownership of platform design and performance at scale. Hybrid remote work with hubs in Europe is supported.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of data engineering experience with production systems
• Experience with distributed data processing (AWS, PySpark)
• Familiarity with cloud-based data services (AWS, RDS) and containerised infrastructure (ECS, Docker)
• AI-driven stack experience and comfort building data infrastructure for ML/AI features
• Strong ownership and self-motivation over system design and delivery

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines and infrastructure with Product and Engineering
• Develop ingestion, transformation and storage pipelines at high scale, deployed end-to-end
• Create tools and abstractions on top of data infrastructure for analytics and ML
• Develop data orchestration and streaming pipelines
• Collaborate with product teams to build reusable data resources and design patterns
