Job description

Coach the organisation within Customers Nordic, initially supporting one team before rolling out agile ways of working across the wider organisation. Adapt and implement an existing agile-development concept to reflect the organisation's specific needs, maturity and operating environment. Build understanding and confidence in agile working by addressing mindset, behaviours, processes and practical delivery challenges. Split focus equally between organisational agile transformation and wider Scrum Master coaching, workshop facilitation and change-management activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the current organisation, ways of working and team needs to establish an appropriate coaching approach.
  • Adjust, implement and progressively roll out the existing agile concept across development teams.
  • Use lessons learned and relevant elements from the concept already being implemented within the B2C organisation.
  • Coach individuals, delivery roles, teams and management on agile principles, behaviours and practical application.
  • Establish clear frameworks and processes for prioritisation as the organisation grows.
  • Support super sprints and act as a trusted sparring partner for management.
  • Help teams understand how to create clear, valuable and actionable user stories.
  • Coach IT Scrum Masters in partnership with an Agile Coach from the Asset and Project Management team in the Netherlands.

Tasks

  • Ask constructive and clarifying questions that challenge assumptions and help teams view problems from different perspectives.
  • Facilitate workshops, project retrospectives and lessons-learned sessions.
  • Support change-management activities connected to new agile processes and behaviours.
  • Create a positive working climate that encourages innovation, digital development and collaboration.
  • Plan, lead and coordinate assigned improvement activities in line with organisational objectives and expected benefits.
  • Monitor progress, identify barriers and support teams in applying agreed improvements consistently.
  • An agile operating concept tailored to the needs of the organisation.
  • Successful initial implementation within one team and a practical approach for wider organisational rollout.
  • Improved prioritisation frameworks, agile behaviours and team working practices.
  • Coached Scrum Masters, delivery roles, management and development teams.
  • Effective workshops, retrospectives, lessons-learned sessions and super sprints.

Project Documents

  • Agile coaching and implementation plans.
  • Prioritisation frameworks, processes and working agreements.
  • Workshop materials, retrospective outputs and lessons-learned records.
  • User-story guidance and supporting team-development materials.
  • Progress, improvement and change-management updates.

Decision Authority / Responsibility

  • Recommend and implement appropriate agile coaching methods within the agreed organisational scope.
  • Challenge behaviours, assumptions and processes that limit effective agile delivery.
  • Work independently and proactively while maintaining alignment with management, teams and international stakeholders.
  • Escalate organisational barriers requiring management action or wider business decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Agile Coach, including successful implementation of agile working within another organisation.
  • Strong capability in both process improvement and the behavioural or mindset elements of agile transformation.
  • Practical experience coaching Scrum Masters, delivery teams, management and other organisational roles.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, retrospectives, lessons-learned sessions and change-management activities.
  • Strong project-management knowledge gained as both a leader and project-team member.
  • Experience of agile and traditional project-delivery methods.
  • Able to manage or support schedules, deliverables, contracts, costs and expected project benefits.
  • Proactive, driven and comfortable taking initiative in a changing environment.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder-management and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written Swedish and English.
  • Able to work effectively within an international organisation and geographically distributed teams.
