Qualifications

  • Knowledge of sensor integration, calibration, and validation.
  • Familiarity with automotive safety standards (ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE).
  • Experience with sensor fusion algorithms and perception systems.

Job description

ALTEN Sweden is now hiring two Data Engineers for an exiting assignemnt in Gothenburg. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating sensor systems for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD) applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure sensor performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

Your role
  • Design, develop, and integrate sensor systems (Radar, Lidar, Camera, Ultrasonic) for ADAS and Autonomous Driving applications.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to optimize sensor performance.
  • Develop and implement sensor calibration, validation, and testing procedures. Ensure compliance with automotive safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve sensor-related issues in real-world driving scenarios.
  • Contribute to sensor fusion algorithms for improved perception and object detection.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in ADAS and autonomous driving technologies.
Your profile
  • Technical degree (e.g., B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent).
  • Experience working with ADAS sensor systems (Radar, Lidar, Camera, Ultrasonic).
  • Strong knowledge of sensor integration, calibration, and validation.
  • Experience with automotive safety standards (ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE).
  • Familiarity with sensor fusion algorithms and perception systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with embedded systems, CAN bus, or ROS (Robot Operating System).
  • Proficiency in C++, Python, or MATLAB for sensor data processing.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a cross‑functional team.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
