Job Title: Strategic Account Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed quarterly incremental revenue targets supporting the regional business plan.
- Maximize revenue growth and customer outcomes through a robust cross‑portfolio sales strategy, utilizing the AVEVA Strategic Sales Plays to deliver the greatest impact to customers’ business.
- Uncover, direct and drive new revenue generation while retaining accountability for all commercial activity within the account from opportunity inception to contract closure.
- Define and execute Account Plans outlining strategic and tactical approaches for achieving targets.
- Plan and organize all related sales activities from prospecting to closing in line with AVEVA’s policies and processes, including written and verbal communication.
- Identify, pursue, and develop C‑Level client relationships, deepening understanding of their digital initiatives and business drivers to secure AVEVA as a strategic partner.
- Analyze ongoing performance using the AVEVA Account Manager Dashboard, providing monthly reports on account strategies, activities, customer visits, revenue status, and forecasts.
- Maintain and develop the customer pipeline following the AVEVA MEDDPICC forecasting protocols and record all activity in AVEVA’s CRM solution (Salesforce).
Essential Requirements
- Significant experience in sales, account management, or business development selling software solutions across Utilities, Infrastructure, O&G, Transmission & Distribution, EPCs, Owner Operators, Design consultants, or parallel sectors.
- Well‑versed in IT software and solutions, with deep knowledge of sector‑specific business drivers and trends for industries served by AVEVA.
- Self‑starter capable of developing new client engagements throughout the entire sales cycle.
- Experienced in operating at all levels, from end‑user to senior decision‑makers, aligning business problems with technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of the business benefits of AVEVA solutions and services, able to articulate product benefits.
- Commercial and analytical skills to identify market trends and opportunities, creating dynamic business and account plans.
- Excellent communication skills in written, oral, email, and presentation formats.
- Fluency in English and the local language at C1/C2 level.
