You will handle, pack, and catalog artifacts, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Job Description: Warehouse & Laboratory Specialist
Key Responsibilities
  • Collections Management: Handling, packing, moving, storing, cataloging (database entry), labeling, and inventory of diverse artifacts, specimens, or materials.
  • Laboratory/Conservation Support: Inspecting storages conditions, maintaining lab supplies, and ensuring safety.
  • Exhibition Support: Assisting with display construction, setup, and takedown; preparing objects for loans and transport.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining detailed records, logs, condition reports, and database entries; performing data entry and generating reports.
  • Safety & Compliance: Implementing lab safety policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Technical: Experience with collections databases, general warehouse equipment, minor conservation techniques, and strong data entry.
  • Soft Skills: High attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and teamwork.
