The Opportunity
We're seeking an exceptional VP of Finance to join our executive leadership team and report directly to the CEO. This is a pivotal role that will establish and lead all financial functions during one of the most critical growth phases in Jisr's history.
As VP of Finance, you'll be the strategic financial leader responsible for scaling our financial operations, managing our $30M+ in capital, driving financial planning that supports our ambitious growth targets, and preparing the company for its next stage of evolution. This role carries CFO-level responsibilities with significant scope and strategic influence.
What You'll Own
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategy aligned with Jisr's mission to reach 1 million registered employees.
- Lead annual and quarterly planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation across all departments.
- Build multi-year financial models that support strategic decision-making and scenario planning.
- Partner with the CEO and executive team on key business decisions, M&A opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
- Drive financial aspects of business development, partnerships, and expansion into new markets.
- Provide board-level financial reporting and support fundraising initiatives for future rounds.
Financial Operations & Management
- Own all accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with Saudi GAAP and international accounting standards.
- Manage cash flow, treasury operations, and banking relationships to optimize working capital.
- Oversee billing operations for 4,500+ customers across multiple subscription tiers and payment models.
- Implement robust internal controls, policies, and procedures to support scaling operations.
- Lead external audits and ensure regulatory compliance with ZATCA, GAZT, SOCPA, and other Saudi authorities.
- Build and lead the FP&A function to provide actionable insights that drive business performance.
- Develop key financial and operational metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV, unit economics, etc.)
- Create executive dashboards and reporting frameworks that enable data-driven decision making.
- Analyze business unit performance, cohort economics, and pricing strategies.
- Support go-to-market teams with pricing analysis, deal structuring, and ROI modeling.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and financial analysis to identify growth opportunities.
SaaS Metrics & Revenue Management
- Own revenue recognition policies and processes for subscription-based business model.
- Track and optimize key SaaS metrics: ARR/MRR growth, net revenue retention, logo retention, expansion revenue.
- Analyze customer acquisition costs, payback periods, and lifetime value by segment and channel; partner with Sales and Customer Success on revenue forecasting and pipeline analysis.
- Model financial impact of product launches, pricing changes, and market expansion.
- Build financial frameworks for evaluating new business lines and strategic initiatives.
Capital Management & Investor Relations
- Deploy $30M Series A capital to maximize growth while maintaining runway.
- Develop fundraising materials, investor updates, and board presentations.
- Maintain relationships with investors (Merak Capital and others) and provide regular financial updates.
- Plan for and support future fundraising rounds (Series B and beyond).
- Manage cap table and equity administration in coordination with legal.
- Evaluate strategic financing options including debt facilities, venture debt, and credit lines.
Systems & Infrastructure
- Implement and optimize financial systems, tools, and automation to support scaling (ERP, billing, reporting platforms).
- Build integrations between financial systems and other business platforms (CRM, HRIS, etc.)
- Leverage technology to improve efficiency, accuracy, and real-time visibility into financial performance.
- Establish data governance and ensure data integrity across financial systems.
- Support product team with insights on fintech features and payment processing
- Build, mentor, and scale a world-class finance team across accounting, FP&A, and operations.
- Develop organizational structure and talent strategy to support company growth from 4,500 to 10,000+ customers.
- Foster a culture of precision, accountability, and strategic thinking.

- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Customer Success, HR, and Legal
- Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks.
- Ensure adherence to Saudi regulations including VAT, Zakat, labor law, and corporate governance requirements.
- Develop business continuity and scenario planning frameworks.
- Manage insurance programs and vendor relationships.
- Oversee contract management and commercial terms for major agreements
What You Bring
- Required Experience - 10-15+ years in progressive finance leadership roles, with at least 5+ years leading finance teams.
- Proven experience scaling finance functions at high-growth SaaS or technology companies (ideally 50%+ annual growth).
- Deep expertise in financial planning & analysis, accounting operations, and SaaS financial metrics.
- Track record building financial infrastructure, systems, and processes from the ground up; strong technical accounting knowledge with experience managing external audits; CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification required.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with executives and board members as a strategic advisor.

- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling and analysis skills.

- Familiarity with SaaS billing platforms (Chargebee, Stripe, Zuora, or similar)
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
- Understanding of CRM systems and their integration with financial platforms
- Comfort with SQL or data analysis tools a plus
Nice to Have
- Experience at a venture-backed technology company through multiple funding rounds; Background in Big 4 public accounting or investment banking; MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Experience with M&A, strategic transactions, or IPO preparation
- Familiarity with HR tech, fintech, or B2B SaaS business models.
