Job summary

Talent BluePrint FZ LLC is seeking an experienced Venue Manager to take overall responsibility for the delivery and day-to-day operation of a major sporting event in Riyadh.

The role acts as the client’s on-site representative, coordinating venue zones, various teams, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure safety, efficiency and standards from build through live operations and dismantling.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in venue management, site management, or event operations.
• Proven experience managing complex venues or sites for major events.
• Strong experience overseeing delivery from build through live operations and dismantling.
• Experience in multi-zone event environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take overall ownership of venue operations and on-site delivery.
• Act as the main contact for the client and key venue stakeholders.
• Oversee venue preparation, build, readiness, live operations, and dismantling.
• Coordinate across guest areas, entertainment spaces, food and retail zones.
• Lead venue operations teams, contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Ensure venue safety, operational readiness, and adherence to standards.
• Manage daily site coordination, issue resolution, and decisions.
• Collaborate with production, security, facilities, guest services, technical, HSE.
• Monitor site readiness and ensure timelines are met.
• Lead venue briefings, inspections, and operational meetings.
• Manage risks, incidents, escalations, and contingencies.
• Maintain client communication and provide status updates on readiness.
• Oversee handover and close-out of the venue post-event.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to take overall responsibility for the successful delivery and day-to-day operation of a major sporting event in Riyadh

The Venue Manager will act as the client’s primary on-site representative, overseeing the venue from build and operational readiness through live event delivery and final dismantling. The role will coordinate multiple venue zones, operational teams, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the site is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall ownership of venue operations and on-site delivery.
• Act as the main point of contact for the client and key venue stakeholders.
• Oversee venue preparation, build, operational readiness, live event operations, and dismantling.
• Coordinate across multiple venue zones, including guest areas, entertainment spaces, food and retail areas, and high-capacity audience zones.
• Lead and coordinate venue operations teams, contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Ensure the venue is safe, secure, operationally ready, and maintained to the required standards.
• Manage daily site coordination, issue resolution, and operational decision‑making.
• Work closely with production, security, facilities, guest services, technical, HSE, and other event functions.
• Monitor site readiness and ensure all operational requirements are delivered in line with project timelines.
• Lead venue briefings, inspections, and operational meetings.
• Manage venue-related risks, incidents, escalations, and contingency requirements.
• Maintain strong communication with the client and provide regular updates on venue readiness and operations.
• Oversee the successful handover and close‑out of the venue following the event.

Required Skills

• Strong client-facing and leadership skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and decision‑making abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders in a high‑pressure environment.

Experience Requirement

• 10+ years of experience in venue management, site management, or event operations.
• Proven experience managing complex venues or sites for major events.
• Strong experience overseeing delivery from build through live operations and dismantling.
• Experience with complex, multi-zone event environments is an advantage.
• Experience in large-scale or multi-zone events is highly desirable.
